My life is wild, but mostly because I am wild, and I kind of like it that way.
I graduated from college in 2007 and have been on an adventure of sorts ever since. I enjoy having jobs in random fields especially when they afford me opportunities to learn new skills and experience new things and people.
Officially, I hold my degree in political science with a minor in math, but my first two years as a biochemistry major gave me a decent science background as well. I guess you could say I’m a pretty well rounded nerd.
At least once a week I get the urge to just pack up my stuff and head out west again. I haven’t lived anywhere longer than a year since I was 16. I always feel the need to keep moving. I feel its time for another adventure soon……
I love the spring and the fall. There is just something about the changing of the seasons that fascinates me.
I’m not a fan of commitment at all. I love life and people way to much to ever just stay with one thing or one person for too long. I finally decided to stick with a full time job for a bit for financial reasons, but I don’t plan on doing that for long (or at least until someone figures out how to make communism actually work).
I believe 100 percent in living for today and I try hard not to get too caught up in petty things. I love the people in my life and they are the most important thing to me right now. None of the extra bullshit really matters.
I consider myself a creative person, but I keep most of it inside. I’m confident about who I am overall, but I’m super private and insecure about my artistic expression, in any form that it may take. I respect and admire those who can put their art out there for everyone to see. This blog, after much encouragement from friends, became a way for me to start to put my creativity and expression out there a little bit. Anyone who knows me knows that I usually have a lot to say, about anything, ever….
Comments and feedback are greatly appreciated. I do my best to try and proof-read before I post new stuff, but something always gets missed so alerts of typos and such are also appreciated. This blog is in a way an a attempt to keep my mind active while I am out of school and to keep me writing and thinking so that my brain is not total mush when I finally get to graduate school. I apologize for most of my posts being rather lengthy, but I write as much as I talk, which is a lot. I swear its usually worth it though so try and stick with me.
Enjoy
